1970 NBA season may refer to:
- 1969–70 NBA season, featuring the New York Knicks defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1970 NBA Finals in seven games. Willis Reed won his lone regular season MVP award. This was the league’s first season without Bill Russell since 1956–57 as he retired in 1969. This was also the rookie season for Lew Alcindor, now known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
- 1970–71 NBA season, featuring the Milwaukee Bucks defeating the Baltimore Bullets in the 1971 NBA Finals, 4–0. This was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's first championship and Oscar Robertson's lone championship. Abdul-Jabbar, then known as Lew Alcindor, also won the first of his six regular season MVP awards.
