The 1958 Texas Longhorns football team was an American football team that represented the University of Texas (now known as the University of Texas at Austin) as a member of the Southwest Conference (SWC) during the 1958 college football season. In their second year under head coach Darrell Royal, the Longhorns compiled an overall record of 7–3, with a mark of 3–3 in conference play, and finished fourth in the SWC.[1]
