The meridian 170° east of Greenwich is a line of longitude[1] that extends from the North Pole across the Arctic Ocean, Asia, the Pacific Ocean, New Zealand, the Southern Ocean, and Antarctica to the South Pole.
The 170th meridian east forms a great ellipse with the 10th meridian west.
