The 10th Infantry Division was a unit during World War I stationed at Camp Funston, Kansas.[1] The division was organized originally from soldiers in the Regular Army, but when completely mobilized was assigned to the National Army. The division was about to be shipped out to France in October of 1918 and the armistice was signed in November. The division was demobilized In January of 1919 except those soldiers and subordinate units assigned to the Regular Army.
Elements of the 10th Division would go on to form the Panama Canal Division in 1921.
