Ángeles Ortega (Sevilla, b. 1960) is a Spanish actress, known for her role as Manola in the Atresmedia series Veneno and Vestidas de azul, as well as for playing Lola in the Movistar Plus+ series La mesías.
Early years
Born in Sevilla, Ortega had four older sisters. At six years old, they moved to Camas, where she grew up.
Career
Between 2000 and 2006 Ángeles Ortega appeared on the Jesus Quintero programs "El Vagamund" "Ratones Coloraos" "El Loco de la Colina" telling her stories with the grace that characterized her.
In 2020 she rose to fame after playing Manola in the multi-award-winning biographic Atresmedia series Veneno, centered on the life of Cristina la Veneno.
In March of 2023 she was interviewed for Canal YOU! TV, the first LGBT TV Channel in Spain[1]
2023 Ángeles reprised the role of La Manola in the series Vestidas de azul, a direct continuation of the story of Veneno.
2024 Los Javis called her back to play Lola in La Mesias, a series on Movistarplus
